Na sopstveni pogon - MIMART

Teatar Mimart je jedan od prvih alternativnih teatara u ex-yu osnovan 1984. godine na neformalnoj eksperimentalnoj umetničkoj sceni Beograda. Nela Antonović, osnivač, direktor i reditelj, okuplja grupu umetnika: performere, plesače, glumce, slikare i sve profesionalce koji žele da se bave eksperimentalnim otvorenim procesom u pozorištu, kroz radionice kreativne vizualizacije koje rezultiraju u metod Mimart.

Fokus našeg rada je na fenomenima društva, jer savremenost određuju fenomeni: geo-politički, socijalni, ekonomski, tehnološki, ekološki medijski, komunikacijski i kulturološki. U eri sveopšte težnje ka vizualizaciji i spektaklu kao modelu društvenog i kulturnog života, MIMART teatar u diskreciji traga za smislom savremene umetnosti. Neverbalni teatar prevazilazi sve barijere: jezičke, geografske, političke, etičke, etničke, sociološke...

Glavne aktivnosti su: ohrabriti dijalog između korisnika i stvaralaca kulturne politike (Community art), kako bi izvođačke umetnosti bile integralni i efektni instrumenti u postizanju kohezije zajednice; promovisati koegzistenciju i poštovanje prema drugačijim kulturama i verovanjima, te kreiranje poštovanja prema kulturnom diverzitetu; podržavanja mobilnosti umetnika u Srbiji i decentralizacija umetnosti; Art aktivizam kroz performanse i razgovore; edukacija mladih kroz otvorene kreativne radionice kao i promovisanja interkulturnog dijaloga kroz međunarodne projekte.

MIMART je učestvovao na mnogim domačim i inostranim pozorišnim festivalima: Prag, Moskva, Sarajevo, Gelsenkirhen, Herne, Rostov, Antverpen, Soči, Podgorica, Pariz, Lviv, Užgorod, Kiev, Oslo, Napulj, Zagreb, Cluj, San Marino, Kairo, Novi Sad, Subotica, Niš, Kotor, Budva, Podgorica, na kojima je dobijao nagrade i priznanja, kao i na vodećim video festivalima interaktivnih umetnosti u svetu.

Iskustvo dugogodišnjeg rada istraživanja pozorišta, pedeset predstava, preko 300 performansa i edukativnih radionica Nela Antonović je publikovala u knjigama "Mimart godovi", 2000. godine о metodi rada, "Fenomenologija pokretom", 2004. godine o fenomenologiji otvorenog procesa i povodom godišnjice rada elektronsku knjigu "25", o uslovima rada savremenog umetnika kod nas, 2009. godine.

MIMART je osnivač i član mreža u Srbiji: STANICA - servis za savremeni ples, DRS - nezavisne kulturne scene Beograda i NKSS - Nezavisna kulturna scena Srbije.

Theater Mimart

Theater Mimart, one of the first alternative theaters in ex-Yugoslavia was established in 1984. at the informal experimental stage of Belgrade. Nela Antonović, founder and art director of MIMART, gathers a group of performers, dancers, actors, painters and all professionals who want to engage in an open process in experimental theater, resulting in creative visualization method Mimart.

The focus of our work is the phenomenon of society, because contemporarity is defined by various phenomena: geo-political, social, economical, technological, environmental media, communicational and cultural. In the era of universal aspiration towards visualization and spectacle as a model of social and cultural life, in its sole discretion MIMART Theatre is searching for the meaning of contemporary art. Non-verbal theater transcends all barriers: language, geographic, political, ethnic, social...

The main activities are: encourage dialogue between practitioners and policy makers (Community art), so that performing arts could become relevant and effective instruments in achieving social cohesion; to promote co-existence and respect for different cultures and beliefs, and to create respect for cultural diversity; create opportunities for artist mobility in Serbia-decentralization of Arts; Art activism through performance and dialogue; educate young people through an open and creative workshops as well as to promote intercultural dialogue through intercultural projects.

MIMART participated in many theater festivals: Prague, Moscow, Sarajevo, Gelsenkirchen, Herne, Rostov, Antwerp, Sochi, Podgorica, Paris, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Kiev, Oslo, Naples, Zagreb, Cluj, San Marino, Cairo, Novi Sad, Subotica, Nis, Kotor, Budva, Podgorica and many others, as well as leading interactive video art festivals in the world.

MIMART celebrates twenty five years in 2009: over forty performances of theater and several hundred performances. Many years of movement research Nela Antonovic compiled in the book "Mimart godovi", 2000., methodology of MIMART is elaborated in the second book called "Phenomenology of Movement", 2004.

Phenomenology of an open process and the 25th anniversary of Theatre MIMART were the cause of the e-book “25” in 2009.

Theatre MIMART in Serbia is one of the founder and a member of network: STANICA - service for contemporary dance, DRS - independent organization "Other Scene" and NKSS - Independent Cultural Scene of Serbia.
